Внимание: осторожно мошенники!
От имени Чепецкого механического завода в адрес предприятий и организаций стали приходить поддельные документы (срочные уведомления, заявки на аукционы и т.п.).
Неизвестные лица рассылают фиктивные заявки о проведении аукционов (например, на право заключения договора поставки нержавеющего металлопроката для нужд АО ЧМЗ). При этом, мошенники используют подложные бланки, несуществующую печать АО ЧМЗ, ставят поддельные подписи действующих сотрудников коммерческой службы, а также подписываются сотрудниками вымышленных отделов (например, отдел закупок срочных аукционов АО ЧМЗ).
Официально заявляем, что Чепецкий механический завод к такого рода документам не имеет никакого отношения.
Убедительно просим проверять поступающую документацию, якобы направленную от имени АО ЧМЗ. Для проверки информации необходимо связываться с официальными коммерческими службами Чепецкого механического завода по тел. (341-41) 9-64-22.

Bars
Bars, like tubes are the necessary structural material in the production of fuel elements and fuel assemblies (FA) of nuclear reactors. Fuel plugs and various elements of FA are made of them as well.
Bars are made as cold-worked, hot-worked, cast, hot-pressed, cold rolled, forged (by cold forging method) bars of 4.5 to 81 mm in diameter, and 7400 mm in length at CMP, JSC.
Bars are made of zirconium alloys with niobium content of 1 % to 2.5 %, and of E635 alloy. Material of bars is corrosion-resistant. The bars are divided into two types: with normal and with higher accuracy according to the degree of manufacturing accuracy.

Bars of other dimensions are made by agreement with the customer. Ovality of the bars is within the tolerance for diameter.
Inspection
Bars are subject to radiographic and ultrasonic testing for the absence of discontinuities.
Packaging and marking
Bars are packed in a wooden or metal tare (boxes, containers). Bar packaging prevents them from moving inside the container, contamination, damage of the surface, and distortion of shape.
Transportation marking is performed according to GOST 14192-77 with application of manipulation signs and indication of the manufacturer, net weight, gross weight, alloy grade, number of melt (lot), diameter of bars, and the address of the customer.
Transportation and storage
Bars can be transported in packed form by all types of transport. When transporting, the bars are protected against mechanical damage, ingress of moisture and exposure to active chemical substances.
The bars are stored in packed form in closed premises, which exclude mechanical damages of bars, ingress of moisture onto them and the exposure to active chemical substances.
Zirconium crystal bars
Iodide zirconium in the form of zirconium crystal bars with pseudocrystalline surface (Van Arkel bars) is a specific type of product. This is the utmost pure zirconium. It is obtained by method of iodide refining of conventional zirconium metal turnings.

Marking
Marking is applied onto the cover of the box with water resistant paint. Marking includes a product name, batch number, and weight, net and gross, name of the manufacturer.
Package and transportation
Bars are packed in wooden boxes by 500 kg per each box. Batch size is not more than 1,000 kgs. Zirconium crystal bars can be transported in packed form by all types of transport. When transporting, the bars shall be protected from mechanical damage, precipitation and active chemical substances.
