Внимание: осторожно мошенники!
От имени Чепецкого механического завода в адрес предприятий и организаций стали приходить поддельные документы (срочные уведомления, заявки на аукционы и т.п.).
Неизвестные лица рассылают фиктивные заявки о проведении аукционов (например, на право заключения договора поставки нержавеющего металлопроката для нужд АО ЧМЗ). При этом, мошенники используют подложные бланки, несуществующую печать АО ЧМЗ, ставят поддельные подписи действующих сотрудников коммерческой службы, а также подписываются сотрудниками вымышленных отделов (например, отдел закупок срочных аукционов АО ЧМЗ).
Официально заявляем, что Чепецкий механический завод к такого рода документам не имеет никакого отношения.
Убедительно просим проверять поступающую документацию, якобы направленную от имени АО ЧМЗ. Для проверки информации необходимо связываться с официальными коммерческими службами Чепецкого механического завода по тел. (341-41) 9-64-22.

Calcium
Nowadays "Chepetsky Mechanical Plant" is one of the world's largest manufacturers of calcium and the single manufacturer in Russia and Europe. Calcium production was organized to meet the demand of the domestic uranium industry in calcium metal in 1949. Historically the uranium industry has focused on calcium technology of uranium reduction. Further, the staged expansion of production facilities has allowed increasing the range of calcium products of the enterprise, improving technology, and enhancing non-waste and safe production in our country. Calcium is also widely used in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy.
The Plant produces calcium metal in the form of ingots, lumps, turnings, crumbs and granules. The Plant has developed procedures of manufacturing products of calcium alloys with magnesium, aluminium and nickel. Production of calcium injection filler wire is implemented as well.
Practically all calcium products are exported to the world's leading countries and are highly appreciated by foreign partners. Quality system existing at the Plant provides the compliance of properties of calcium product with customers' requirements
Calcium is metal with a silvery-white colour, which quickly becomes dull on the air.
- Density is - 1,55 g / cm3.
- Brinnel Hardness is 13,7 kg/mm2.
- Melting temperature is 850 - 850o С.
- Boiling temperature is - 1487o С.
Calcium metal actively reacts with water and atmosphere moisture. Furthermore hydrogen and a large amount of heat are evolved during the reaction, which results in generating the explosive mixture.

Metallic calcium is used as:
- Reducing agent from the oxides and other chemical compounds of various non-ferrous, refractory and rear metals;
- Alloying element for production of non-ferrous metals’ alloys;
- Deoxidizing agent, which bonds simultaneously carbon, sulfur, phosphorus and nitrogen in high quality steels and non-ferrous metals’ alloys production;
- Separator of argon and nitrogen when production of the gases;
- Purifier of oil and gas in oil-and-gas industry;
- Filling agent for cored wire.
